This retreat is an invitation to come home to yourself and reconnect to the wisdom and beauty of your own embodiment. We will re-enliven our senses and explore our deep and abiding presence of being-ness through the practices of Continuum Inquiry and Deep Perceiving. We will slow down to reclaim the innate rhythm of our body and revel in the nourishment of this sacred land and its enriching waters. Come join this circle of renewal to rediscover your own wild way of emboding aliveness.
Continuum Inquiry is a movement practice that invites us into the direct experience of what it means to be alive. Relaxing the expectations and assumptions of how and where we ‘should’ move, we open to our bio-intelligence to be responsive to our immediate context and environment. Using sound, breath, and subtle movement, we enliven the tissues of our body and awaken our dynamic and fluid wisdom. In this way we tap into a greater flow of energy, increase our body’s adaptability and invite more multi-dimensional movement possibilities. This practice helps us become more responsive and less reactive, giving us more capacity for life in its vast spectrum of experience and emotion. If you would like to view a 20 minute video about the practice created by my friend and colleague, Sabine Mead, you can do so HERE.
Deep Perceiving is the practice of exploring the aliveness of the world around us through our amazing sense portals. When we slow down to notice and attune our senses in ways we may have forgotten were available to us, we notice that the world is alive and bursting with invitations for connection and intimacy. We can reclaim our rightful presence in the singing and dancing of the larger web of life.

Breitenbush Hot Springs is a remote forest retreat of timeless natural beauty, blessed with abundant hot springs, a glacier-fed river and surrounding mountains. Soak in The Meadow Pools lined in smooth river rocks or the four Spiral Hot Tubs of varying temperature. Enjoy the Steam Sauna, a cedar cabin perched above steaming waters. A spirit of respect and sanctuary pervades the clothing-optional soaking pools. Cozy, rustic, year-round cabins (some with bathrooms) give many options for your stay. Men’s and women’s bathhouses serve the needs of those in cabins without bathrooms. Bountiful organic vegetarian meals are served buffet style three times daily. They have options for egg-free, dairy-free and gluten-free needs.
